…commends the Judiciary for upholding Justice
Member, Federal House of Representatives, Ikwo/ Ezza-South Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah OON, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and his deputy, Hon. Mrs Patricia Obila on their Supreme Court victory as the duly elected governor and deputy governor of Ebonyi State.
In a statement on Friday, Ogah said that the Friday’s judgment of the apex court has put an end to the series of litigations and distractions from the opposition party and urged everyone irrespective of party affiliation to join hands to support the administration of governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
The message reads, “I, Rt. Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, OON Member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions most warmly congratulates God-sent Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB FCAI, GGCEHF and his Deputy, Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Obila on their resounding victory at the Supreme Court which upheld their election as the duly elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State at the March 18, 2023 Governorship poll.
“Your Excellency, the verdict of the Supreme Court, the highest court in our Country serves as the ultimate triumph of the Will of the people of Ebonyi State as expressed at the Polling Units, in their resolve to uplift the standard of living in the State.
“The judgment of the Supreme Court has further restored the confidence Nigerians repose on the institution of the Judiciary and the hope for the sustenance of democracy in our country, Nigeria.
”I therefore commend the Supreme Court for its courage in upholding justice and reaffirming the saying that “the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man.
”I also congratulate the good people of Ebonyi State and urge our dear Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to continue in his stride to reposition and rebuild the State in line with his People’s Charter of Needs mantra and manifesto of our great Party, the APC.
