The Coalition of Igbo groups yesterday passed a vote of confidence on the office of the Secretary-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide for the remarkable ways he has defended the Igbo course and development across the seven Igbo speaking States, from supporting the creation of additional States in the southeast to advocating for the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.
The group commended Isiguzoro for championing the political justice for the southeast through the 2023 Southern Presidency, as well as the fight against the imported insecurity challenges in the southeast region.
The coalition is a group made up of World Igbo Youth Congress, Southeast Women Professionals, and Nzuko Ndigbo Worldwide.
In a statement signed by the President, Southeast Women Professionals, Prof Mrs. Helen Ogbonnaya, Secretary-General, Nzuko Ndigbo Worldwide Pham. Joshua Onwuamodo and the President, World Igbo Youth Congress, Barr Chukwuebuka Alaike- Nwosu, the group also passed vote of confidence on the Mazi Okwu Nnabuike-led Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth council.
It stated, ” CIG salutes the remarkable bravery and uncommon strength demonstrated in the line of duty by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo to wage war against the corrupt politicians and external Igbo detractors”.

Igbo groups attended the 2020 convention that produced the apex Igbo youth organization Leadership in December 2020 amid the observation of Covid-19 protocols, and any other Igbo Youth groups without known address or not registered in CAC are impostors and not Igbo”.
“We have uncovered the sponsored assaults emanating from the clandestine meetings held by enemies of Ndigbo and uncircumcised youths who are paid agents of unpopular Presidential candidate to malign and tarnished the office of Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo following Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s support for a popular Presidential candidate who is the choice of Nigerians for 2023.
“Ndigbo will sanction all faceless groups, as well as emergency organizations without office addresses. There are fruitless attempts to use one Igboayaka Olajide Olushola Igboayaka to malign Igbo leadership. Attempts to use impostors as they earlier used them in splitting up Afenifere over 2023 has been uncovered, they cannot split Ohanaeze Ndigbo with cheap propaganda and campaign of calumny, Ndigbo is too sophisticated and complex for marauders, ” the statement reads
