President Buhari Faults foreign press over coverage of Endsars violence

President Muhammadu Buhari has faulted the coverage given to the Endsars protest which turned violence in most parts of Nigeria few weeks ago.

 

Mr. President in his twitter handle @MBuhari on Thursday, hinted that the foreign press, especially CNN and BBC were biased in their reportage of the Endsars violence in the country.

He said he was disgusted by the coverage, adding that the media houses failed to give attention to policemen who were killed during the attack, as well s the police stations that were set ablaze and series of prison breaks.

He said: ”It must be said that foreign press coverage of the ENDSARS violence was not balanced, especially from CNN and BBC. I was disgusted by the coverage, which did not give attention to the policemen that were killed, the stations that were burnt, and prisons that were opened, he twitted.
