The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, (NAWOJ), Ebonyi State chapter, Sunday, felicitated with Comrade Chris Isiguzo, over his re-election as the President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ).
In a statement signed by the state NAWOJ chairperson, Comrade Nkechiyere Oginyi, and Secretary, Chinyere Okeh, made available to National Tabloid, she described Isiguzo’s re-election as a well deserved victory.
Isiguzo was on October 7th re-elected as the President of NUJ during the 7th Triennial Delegates Conference of the Association in Umuahia, Abia State, capital.
Oginyi noted that Isiguzo’s emergence for the second term was a confirmation that God and the entire universe are with him.
She stated: “Your landslide victory at the just concluded 7th Triennial Delegates Conference in Umuahia, Abia State, Southeast Nigeria is a confirmation that God and the entire universe are with you.
“It is also a reward for hard work which you have continued to demonstrate since your first tenure.
“Sir, we the NAWOJ Ebonyi State are confident that you will take NUJ to greater heights having demonstrated capacity in your first outing. We are proud to identify with you and we are assuring of our unalloyed support and prayers, “the jinx breaker”.
