Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has joined Ebonyians and southeast in general to celebrate Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State who recently clocked 58 years, even as they described him as ‘the new of Zik of Africa’.
In a release by the Secretary-General of the group, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, he said Umahi, who is the Chairman of Southeast Governors Forum, is a servant of God and the new rallying point of Ndigbo.
“Biblically, like King David, He’s the toast of Southeastern Nigeria. With a calm and peaceful disposition, his infrastructural revolution and agricultural agenda undisputedly positioned Ebonyi state amongst other world’s leading states in metropolitan development and economic destination. Ndigbo is pleased to announce that the Governor of Ebonyi remains the most performed Governor in Southeastern Nigeria.
“At 58 years old, Ndigbo expect that Governor Umahi, should move to the National scene in 2023, as he is eminently qualified to hold any position or occupy any office, as a result of his track record of accomplishments in governance and his entrepreneurial spirit of Excellence.
